What is the purpose of the fundraiser quiz night?

The purpose of the quiz night is to raise funds for Asthma + Lung UK, a charity Maddie is running for in the London Marathon 2025 while providing an enjoyable and engaging evening for all participants.

When and where does the quiz night take place?

The quiz night will be held on 5th October 2024 at Woodhall Farm Community Centre, Datchet Cl, Hemel Hempstead HP2 7JX. Doors open at 6:30pm, and the quiz will begin at 7:00pm and finish by 10:00pm.

 

How long will the event last?

The event will last approximately 3 hours, including breaks and prize distribution.

Are children welcome?

While our charity quiz night is a family-friendly event, it is primarily designed for adults, and the questions and atmosphere may not be ideal for young children. We recommend that children be accompanied by an adult, and suggest considering whether the event will be suitable for your child's age and attention span.

Is there parking on-site?

Yes, there is a car park at the venue with street parking as overflow if required.

Participation

How can I participate in the quiz night?

You can participate by purchasing a team ticket online by clicking here.

How many people can be on a team?

Each team can have up to 8 members. You can form a team with friends, family, or colleagues.

Tickets and Registration

How much do tickets cost?

Tickets are priced at £80 per team. The ticket price includes entry to the quiz.

What type of questions will be asked?

The quiz will cover a variety of topics, including general knowledge, pop culture, sports, history, and more. There will be something for everyone!​

Prizes and Awards

What prizes are available?

Token prizes will be awarded to the top team. There will also be a raffle with various items donated by local businesses, and tickets available to buy on the night.​

Additional Information

Will food and drinks be available?

Food and drinks will not be provided at the charity quiz night. We encourage participants to bring their own food and beverages, including alcoholic drinks if they wish. Please ensure any food and drink you bring is suitable for the venue and considerate of other participants.​
