We are receiving an increasing number of demands from patients to have Face2Face appointments.
We would like to remind our patients that we are seeing patients Face2Face after they have been screened via phone and if it is then clinically necessary.
All our sites need to remain COVID compliant and allow for social distancing until rules are completely relaxed. We need to protect our administrative and clinical staff by reducing unnecessary contact particularly with the increase of the Indian strain in neighbouring boroughs. Telephone calls allow GPs to take relevant history and screen patients before calling them in - not only does this reduce the risks to the practice but also to our patients.
We understand that it can be frustrating when we cannot meet the needs of our patients however again we please remind you to be respectful and considerate to our staff.
As soon as we receive guidance on how we offer Face2Face appointments without these considerations we will update our patients further.
